Because we all have blind spots.

Patterns we repeat, boundaries we lack or allow to be negotiated to oblivion, and standards we’ve lowered to the ground — all without realizing it. And more often than not, it’s only when someone outside of you, someone who isn’t in the business of tiptoeing around your feelings or sugarcoating the truth, points them out that you get your “holy sh*t” moment.​
